Q. What is Digerati, and who are the people behind it?
A. Digerati is a non-profit organization, founded and organized under the auspices of Philippine Consulate General (PCG), Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in Dubai.
They are founded by nine professional Filipinos, Including:

Q. When did you start this noble cause?
A. Its existence in UAE was through a simple founding Execom's oath taking ceremony held at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai on the 28th December 2007
Q. What are your objectives?
A. To fill the gap between Filipinos and Technology in Dubai and Northern Emirates and create an impact to Filipino community trough sharing and volunteerism works in the field of technology, personal and personal development.

Q. What is the course duration and how long it will take to finish the program?
A. The course duration is 1 ½ hours for 10 consecutive Fridays or 15 hours training
Q. How much is the money involved?
A. Contribution is AED120 per course.
Q. What other fees do you collect aside from the contribution Fee of 120/-
A. No other charges.
Q. Any other non-Filipinos who can join you as members?
A. The program is exclusive for Filipinos, we are not accepting other nationalities, but if someone is married to Filipino he/she can still avail of the course. Q. What other fees do you collect aside from the contribution Fee of 120/-
A. this membership fee is designed to assist OFW’s in dire need.
A compulsory Filex membership Fee of AED30/- for lifetime membership fee & AED15/- for 1 year life and accidental medical insurance
Note: enforcement of insurance will take effect the moment you have signed up and submitted the following requirements (you are deemed to be already covered by the insurance within the UAE Jurisdiction with the following bebefits:
The insurance covered the jurisdiction of United Arab Emirates with the following proceeds:
1. Accidental Death of up to AED50,000/- 2. Permanent Total Disability due to Accident of up to (AED50,000/-) 3. Accidental Medical Expenses (AED5,000/- per person per annum) 4. Repatriation Expenses (AED7,500/- from worldwide to place of origin

1. 3 x passport size I. D. photo; 2. Passport copy with residence visa; 3. AED30 for Filex Foundation lifetime membership; 4. AED15 for one year life insurance.

Q. What other helpful things to Filipinos do you normally undertake, aside from, of course, tuition-free computer training to our less much fortunate Kabayans?
A. We are also being invited by professional and non-professional organization to conduct a free training workshops to their organizations, we are doing fund raising to help distressed Filipinos in Dubai, Outreach Program, participate in the yearly Independence Day and Bayanihan Festival

A. Self fulfillment and sharing of our un-imaginable blessings being given to us by Him.
